ABOUT

I've been playing consistently for a number of years. I can play other instruments but drums are where I've always been drawn back to

I've regularly played in churches since I started playing - churches of various cultures and play styles, from gospel to African styles, and even from rock to Latin genres - I have been able to learn and play many different play styles and love to get creative with the things I've learned to add my own flavour to music I play

In my early years, I spent a lot of time playing heavier rock music from a number of bands, such as (softer things like:) Greenday, linkin park, and even heavier stuff like A7X, BFMV, Metallica etc

I grew my musical vocabulary when I joined a Brazilian church, which played contemporary Christian music, but also learned many Latin styles when we had jam sessions

As well as a local church setting, I have played at many conferences and events, both with musicians I have played with before and new musicians, who have commented on my excellent chemistry and sensitivity to read and interpret the atmosphere and songs

Anything and anyone! I love watching drummers from drumeo and learning from them, as well as listening to different music artists to pick up and learn drum rhythms and fills and get more ideas
