small note to people looking for a female guitarist: im actually a man :)) apologies for any confusion.
ive been playing guitar pretty much everyday i can for the past 4 years but ive very rarely had the chance to actually jam with other people properly (i have pretty sh*tty social anxiety and the likes) but im getting bored of playing by myself all the time so i figured id try here again. id like to maybe just jam with someone and maybe write something cool, or meet some people into making music.
the last time someone heard my playing it was described as "folky" which i guess is a good thing? ive never used a pick, i play mostly fingerpicking or strumming by flopping my hand about and it works pretty well. a lot of my playing consists of trying to blend rhythm/lead guitar parts together, a hyperactive strumming hand or trying to come up with some nice sounding fingerpicking progressions.
in terms of actual songs i play, i tend to go towards either grunge (nirvana and alice in chains mostly), acoustic(i cant think of any good examples right now) or classic rock(jimi hendrix, some other things im forgetting lol).
ill upload something musical-ish hopefully soon so at least anyone who comes across here can hear what i sound like :)
