I have played guitar for years as a hobby. I have some music theory from school - not sure if I'm really any good but can hold a rhytmn and quickly learn any riff.. Would love to share this with similar. Voice OK but probably as a backer. Expectations are limited but want to try to do some gigs (covers to start) and also quite sure possible to write/record/perform some owm material.

Guitar based from AC/DC, Artics, Feeder, Foo Fighters, Hard-fi, Kasabian, Oasis, Killers, Muse, U2, Snow Patrol etc etc.. but also like lots of different pop influences e.g. Human League, Depeche Mode Duran Duran Coldplay, Paolo Nuttini, Paloma Faith, Robbie, Scissor Sisters. ...go figure?

EQUIPMENT
Acoustic, F.Strat and Ibanez bass guitars. Cheapish drum kit that my daughter learnt to play plus Alesis drum machine. Have some DAW experience and even some PA and a small analogue desk.
