Hi Im Keith. I’ve just started a group based in Tunbridge Well. Two guitars strong backing vocals, bass and drums. We are in need for a female vocalist to front the band. We are looking to do covers, pub sets, crowd pleasers i the aim to do pub giggs, venues, weddings and festivals. We are all committed, and all had bands fail due to politics in one way or another. We are all experienced, and from past niggles we have set some foundations.
1) Not in it for the money, must be doing it because thats what they love to do. (Obviously payment will be there, and it’ll always be split evenly between members)
2) 100% committed, and willing to do weekly rehersals. Studio’s not set in stone until all members are established.
4) No pre-maddonas or big ego’s. There is no ‘I am the Band’ attitudes, we are all humble, and its a full team effort.
5) Everyone gets to bring eclectic tastes to the table. There will be times when some songs may not be liked, but all song choices will be a full group decision, democratically voted on.
6) Must have fun, be positive and willing to do social meets outside of rehearsals for socialising. If everyone is friends, then it helps with stage teamwork. We have a professional approach to sound tech, so sound is good.
