Influences
We grew up listening to 70s and 80s and 90s music. From creative and explosive prog-rock of the 70s to the synthetic vibes of the early 80s and 90s grunge and . We like rock that's progressive and creative: Genesis, Yes, Rush, Led Zep, The Who, Pink Floyd, King Crimson, U2, David Bowie, The Police, Fleetwood Mac, XTC, Talking Heads, Joy Division, The Cure, The Clash, Cream, The Beatles, The Kinks, 10CC, ELO, Roxy Music, Springsteen, Hendrix, and loads more in those categories.
We love a wide variety of artists who don't only produce chart topping songs, but make legendary albums; stuff that has influenced something of a vibe, something that has pioneered and inspired new genres:
We really identify our own music with artists like Radiohead, Muse, Editors, The Killers, Soundgarden, Nirvana, the Foo Fighters, Queens of The Stone Age, The Manic Street Preachers, Smashing Pumpkins, Green Day, Jeff Buckley, Ocean Colour Scene, Blur, Arcade Fire, and Embrace.
We aim to write, perform, and produce music that stretches the imagination, from style to style, vibe to vibe, riff to riff, texture to texture. We love to express our ideas in lots of instrumental and melodic ways. Songs like mini movies!
