SEEKING
Rhythm Guitar, Acoustic Guitar, Bass Guitar, Other Percussion, Background Singer.ABOUT
Hello!
I am a singer/ guitarist/ studio/ live musician, back online after working on recording collaborations. I’m now once again seeking some fellow local musicians to help me put on some live shows. Just small venues to start with and stretch our legs - then moving on and up I hope!
Equally if you have some material and are seeking a collaborator I'm always open to new ideas and working with new people.
On my own stuff, I have been writing my latest material over a few years or so now, with quite a lot completed and much more in the pipeline. Some of this is just me and acoustic guitar - other songs need a full band treatment. I’ve created examples of both in the attached audio, where the ‘full stuff’ is me playing or coding computer instruments.

Here are the folks I am hoping to find within half an hour or so of Alcester in the UK! How hard can it be right?
* Bass player - fretless would be great
* Acoustic instrument player (guitar - or anything really)
* Keys player - piano and synth
* Percussionist/ drummer - versatile please!
* BVs - especially female but if it comes with any of the above then great
Here’s some things to consider!
* Age is immaterial
* The desire to create an overall sound that is right for the song is paramount - there is no room for mega loud people or large egos. The song is everything, and empathy to create the right combination of sounds is the only way I work
* Unreliability and lack of commitment will be met with being locked in a room with my daughters cat when he’s hungry
* Sense of humour and the ability to laugh at yourself as well as others is equally essential
* Initial idea is to work to get a performance together - then let’s see where we are for future recording, writing, mutually agreeable cover numbers etc
* Why are there so few percussionists? Why are the people who own Maschine and Novation not playing this style of music - the world is your mollusc! Where have all the Roland V-Drum owners gone - are they buying kits then being kidnapped?
Reach me on this platform or on the mail system for the biggest internet search engine under kcorry1 too!
All the best everyone - good luck in your music!
