We actually only had the idea to form a band a month ago. We've been coming up with ideas and such etc but so far it's just me, Lead Vocalist and Brando, Drummer. We do have a place already where we have guaranteed position of gigging since we know the people. They have a month gig night.
Anyway! Although we are 'teens', it doesn't make us any less committed to the band, practice, gigging etc. I'm very organised and am good at finding places to gig etc so I'm usually in charge of that. We also already have a weekly practice room . Now of course we can't really do much about starting out unless we find more people to join the band which atm goes by the name Junkyard RatZ. Our band genre is Alternative Indie/Rock, highly influenced by 'Sex Bob-Omb'.
We are looking for a guitarist and a bassist. Your skill needs to be enough that you can read sheet music. We'd like that you are as passionate and committed about being part of this band so that we know you'll actually turn up to practices and gigs etc. Passionate musicians = Great sounding music! We'd prefer if you weren't too experienced in being a band since we aren't, I mean... I have been in one but it wasn't for very long due to uncommitted members. We'd like this so that we can all grow and learn together as a unit rather than one person knowing everything and while it may be annoying for us beginners being ordered around constantly either than learning and experiencing trials and errors for ourselves, but i can imagine it would be annoying for the experiences player too ! Having to deal with noob musicians haha. I have preformed solo before to karaoke sort of things..
