Influences
Hard Rock is what got me into playing guitar and in the beginning Eddy Van Halen, Randy Rhoads, Smith and Murray, Gary Moore, Steve Vai and Joe Satriani guided my playing but as I developed I widened my tastes to include George Benson, Larry Carlton, Andy Summers, SRV, Robert Cray, Kenny Burell, Andy Timmons, John Petrucci, Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix to the point now where if I hear something good it has an influence on me. I keep my mind and ears open these days and still get as much of a kick out learning something new now as I did when I first started.
