I am a saxophonist, composer and music teacher experienced in both jazz and classical saxophone. I have been passionate about music since childhood. I was raised in a musical family and both of my parents were active classical musicians, owning a conservatory in Preveza, Greece.
Due to my diverse influences, also because of my roots in Greece, I am interested many genres of music and I am particularly intrigued by folk idioms. At the same time, I enjoy playing other more popular genres like funk and pop.
My latest project, exploring the idea that we can use music to describe situations that we can’t find words for, is called “Looking Closer” and is available on YouTube.
