ABOUT

Hi,

I've been playing guitar for ages and can turn my hand to almost anything required. I've also done sound engineering in my time and subsequently, fit myself into the other players' styles and the overall mix. I always play for the song and the groove and don't shy away from recreating the big solos (e.g. Floyd, queen, etc...).

I've also been doing a little lead singing on select songs (the ragged rowdy ones!), do backing, love playing bass (the soul of any song), can hold my own with a bit of keyboards and piano and taken up trumpet and drums. I love having a chance to swap round with instruments but its probably with my guitar that I'd be most beneficial.

I like Pop and Indy stuff; All the crowd pleasers. Reworking classics that take the crowd by surprise and they sing despite themselves always gives me a warm fuzzy feeling :) I'm looking for a bassist who likes to mix and match with different songs to give a different vibe. If you can play drums you would liberate our very talented singer/songwriter for a few numbers. Similarly, with guitar or singing. Let's have a jam and see if we click.
