My names Kurt, I'm 21 and I have been playing bass guitar for many years now and have also branched into rythm guitar. I plan to now tackle double bass for a more classy jazz feel to add to my rock music mentality. (Visit www.myspace/kbassist or Kurt Bass on for a fair few pics I did in one of the photo shoots).
I used to be in Benefits of the Doubt, Fresh Air Sniper, San-Sagari and Freedom's Cry.
I have done several photo shoots, professional (studio) and amature (location), have been in and out of recording studios (the last place I was in the bloke who owned it had previously helped master Cradle of Filth) repeatedly and spent more years in and out of recording sessions/rehearsal rooms than I can remember!
I own 2 Thunderbird bass guitars with hard cases (one black, one vintageburst), a zoom ten track recorder, 3x digitech bass effect pedals (distortion with mixer, envelope/synth and a 16 voice chorus), a Crate RIG, 1x15, 4x10 and a 220 head which really packs a punch, an electro-acoutic bass, acoustic guitar and an SG lead.
As you can tell I love my music, I take it seriously - but thats about all I do, everything else I'm a joker. Stocky, cocky and generally an Idiot. A motto I live by. I'm looking for a new band or project to get into, preferably rock orientated. Don't hesitate to talk to me on kurt_cky
