Hi! I'm Laura. I'm a versatile musician and multi-instrumentalist spanning all genres but mainly classical and rock & pop. I'm primarily a recorder player (yes we do exist!) but I have experience on multiple other instruments. I am currently studying for my undergraduate degree in Music Performance at University of Chichester and achieved an A at a level music. I hold grades in recorder, classical guitar, rock&pop vocals and music theory (all grade 8 with merit) grade 6 piano (distinction) currently working towards grade 7 which I hope to take later on this year, and I'm working towards my DipABRSM performance diploma in recorder. I sing clean vocals and I can rap. Currently working on the screaming. I am open to joining a band as a full or temporary member, work as a session musician or as a one-off time for a gig. I am a quick learner and good at improvising, I have perfect pitch too which helps with this a lot. Even if I don't know your songs I am able to pick them up quickly. I am a bit quirky with a wicked sense of humour and I'm easy to get along with, but I always put in 110% to any projects. I practice upwards of 2 hours a day and I am somewhat of a perfectionist. With my solid background in classical music theory I'm able to write music, lyrics not so much. I am also trained in orchestral and choral conducting.
