Started learning guitar first aged 19 in my native Rushden, Northants.
Played Bass for first band 'The Poppies' at 20, playing London gigs.
After breaking up, formed folk inspired group 'Sleazy Gene' back in Rushden, sharing songwriting partnership and vocals with friend Ben Brady, playing electric guitar, mandolin & viola if not singing lead vocals.
