Hi, 24 year old guitarist from SE London (Orpington, Bromley area) seeking to form rock band or join existing one. I've been playing on and off for nearly 10 years, spent a few years studying music and had some experience of rehearsing, gigging, recording, composing etc during this time. Have grade 7 in Rockschool guitar and am currently going through RGT exams too. I'm no virtuoso but highly competent, good sense of feel, committed and very quick learner.
My biggest influences are classic rock/blues bands such as Zeppelin, The Who, Stones, Cream,etc, and ideally I'd be looking for a band to play this sort of material with, with a view to writing some originals (I have a handful of originals written we could play with should it come up). Just looking to be part of a tight, exciting rock n'roll band with a good sense of FUN!! I want to be in a band that can electrify a crowd, this is more important to me than making money atm (although we'll cross that bridge when we get there). I don't care how technical you are as long as you're musical, committed and doing this out of desire to make music rather than money/fame.
