We are The LightinGayle Band!
A relatively newly formed function/party band and we specialise in covers.
We are currently seeking a permanent BASSIST to join us (2 versatile female singers, a classically trained keys player, a eclectic guitarist and a soulful drummer), for Sunday rehearsals & gigs.
PLEASE NOTE DEPs need not apply as we have a steady supply and require something more stable.
We're a diverse bunch with different age ranges, backgrounds, jobs, cultures and influences, but we all share a passion for talent, great music, individuality, respectful & open communication and our band's aims, objectives, goals and mottos. Our differences only enhance the group dynamic and it's important that our new addition will do so too.

We collectively love, play and have been influenced by most genres of music with our singer's personal repertoires spanning eras from the 1950's all the way up to the present.
So, as an example, whilst our set lists depend on the expected audience or can be tailored to the individual clients wishes; our personal repertoires cover a vast plethora of songs:

From Adele's Rolling In The Deep to Magic's Rude (10s) and;
From Billie Eilish's Ocean Eyes to Doja Cat's Streets (20's)!
Throw in to the pot our very own blend of Michael Jackson's Human Nature mixed with SWV's Right Here and Eminem's Lose yourself rapped over the backing track of Chic's Good Times;
Now add a generous sprinkle of Pink, Whitney Houston, Evanescence, Bruno Mars, 30 Seconds to Mars, Ed Sheeran, Prince, Bon Jovi, Sir Mix Alot, Amy Winehouse and Bob Marley, garnish with a variety of Disney, movie and musical soundtracks, then top it of with Tina Turner, Eric Clapton, Beyoncé and some garage tracks, and you may just get a tiny inkling of our influences and range.
