I am a German, Egyptian singer, who was raised primarily in Dubai, UAE. In September 2021 I moved across the world to England to study Music at the Institute of Contemporary Music Performance. My love of music started at a young age, my father’s love of classic rock blended with my mom’s love of hip- hop and pop music influenced not only my music taste but also my sound. At 10, I started training as a Classical singer as well as getting involved in local musical theatre productions. This allowed me to perform at different venues around Asia including the Dubai Opera House and Shanghai Symphony Hall. Studying performance at ICMP allowed me to explore different genres, sounds and styles which sparked my interest in jazz, I’ve used my experience and my love of different genres to develop my own sound, priding myself in my versatility, agility and storytelling ability.
