Interested in most things that have a good bit of guitar in it.
I am thinking of starting a Rhythm & Blues band, mainly because that is my taste but also it allows freedom to dip into other genres that Rock does not. So a bit of rock, country, blues, punk, pop, ska and folk are all likely to happen.
Initially I expect most songs will be 3 or 4 chords only (easy), just to get a decent pub set together. I am open to most things except for anything touched by Mr Weller or Coldplay.
More tricky and musically interesting stuff is a definite possibility for the future but can be self indulgent so will have to be limited. If this interests you please drop me a line mrbeard.jhgoogl

EQUIPMENT
The Samick (Les-alike), Yamaha acoustic, 335 alike (skylark) now back in one piece and my new favorite, red Squier strat that plays like a dream. My Fender CD-60CE in black sits next to an old classical that is good for writing but terrible for everything else.
My new amp is an old Laney PL 100 Twin. Just getting to grips with it and what it can do. Gonna test it in a big room soon to see how it goes.
Marshall VS265 (currently residing in Cheltenham while my son records an album with his new band (check out Welcome to Marathon), Marshall 10 watt practice amp, Marshall G30R CD and a Kustom 30w.
