My name's Luke Carter i'm 24 I've been playing the bass guitar for the last 3 years so you could say i was just entering the intermediate level, i feel like I've reached a point where i would be able to play in a band that covers rock/blues songs, preferably around the Altrincham area. I don't have any previous gigging experience but we've all got to start somewhere. I drive so I'm fine with practicing/gigging anywhere in Manchester and I don't have a problem with being on stage - as long as I've got my bass.

Influences
My music taste is sort of split between 60's/70's rock, disco/Funk and 90's grunge depending on what mood I'm in. My main influences when it comes to the Bass Guitar are Rodger Waters from Pink Floyd and Bernard Edwards form Chic. i would love to be part of a funk rock band who writes their own material but I'm fine just covering rock songs for now to build my chops up.
