I play (rhythm/acoustic or electric) guitar and keyboards. I've been playing+making music (that is, having fun doing it) for the past 30 years, purely as an amateur. Right now, just want to have some fun while playing somewhere, in a band, in a studio, anywhere, anything - except Jazz - I still cannot get Jazz.

I also like to make music but here I have very specific tastes, with a mix of electronica (not techno, more ambience, atmosphere and "new age" - type of sounds), "symphonic", or just plain experimental - my driver here is sounds/sound landscapes, not notes. So, I guess that makes me a "specialist".

I am registered with the PRS - although I have made music for short movies, documentaries and dance projects for free, one of my tracks is in a movie/documentary (www.lastparadisefilm) that is about to enter the full commercial circuit, and so I have no other choice than to collect some royalties, which is nice :)

I have a 9-to-5 day job and so, for now, the fun factor is more important than the "pro" factor. Not that I am taking this less seriously because of that! I live in Merstham, near Redhill, but can move around somewhat if necessary.
