Genuine Essex lad....Played music since I was a kid, have mainly focused on drums the last few years as that's all I've had time for. looking to get back into music more seriously but need people to jam with. I play mostly by ear, and my ears are damn good not gonna lie :-D My timing is good, don't need a click but can play with one. Can play double bass pedal, and various styles of drumming. Anything I don't know doesn't take long to pick up. Haven't played in a band for 2 years but have kept up weekly practice etc. Play along to a lot of dream theatre...love playing off time technical pieces. Would say Jeff porcaro was my biggest influence, accenting the drums and focussing on back beat and not being unnecessarily fancy also getting the dum mix right and setting gates to pick up ghost notes etc. Mike mangini is probably more of a recent influence especially since getting into double pedal a couple years ago.
