I have played a few instruments over the past 10-15 years ranging from piano and trumpet through to Bass and Drums and even a bit of bedroom DJing (Drum and Bass). Although I could still pick up most of these instruments and have a play, it has been the drums that I've been most serious about recently. Its the one instrument that didn't really take too much effort to learn, I am mostly self taught. I played for a pub band doing a lot of classic covers a couple of years ago and I really miss gigging, so I need a reason to get my drum kit down from the loft. I'm looking for a laid back band who play covers of any sort in need of a drummer who can keep the time and jazz up the track with the odd fill every now and then (I also love a good drum solo :) ). I would love to gig again, but even if its just a get together for some jamming then I'm still up for it. I also love to sing (not whilst drumming though unless its backing vocals over a simple beat) and would happily put the sticks down to sing lead vocals.
