SEEKING
Drums, Other Percussion.ABOUT
The ManaFlow sound is a juicy, organic mixture of pounding beats, heavy grooves, weird song structures, surprising melodic changes and loads of volume!
Unexpected and powerful but also danceable.....a crushing wave of musical goodness that makes people bounce!
We have a full set-list of all original songs and we're always playing around with new ideas (we like a lot of different styles of music, so genre is not an issue).
We believe that all band members should have equally important creative freedom!
Therefore we don't expect you to play these exact drum parts heard on any of the recordings.
Everyone has a different touch, a different sound: the point is to make the music sound awesome! (Although could use them as guidelines in order to get the band up to speed and get back to gigging. Up to you.)
We're a fairly new band, but both of us have years of stage and recording experience with different projects.
We are looking for a musician who likes (and able) to jam and plays drums as their main instrument (if you play any other instruments that's cool as well)!
Someone creative and dedicated to music, someone who loves playing for a crowd!
Must be available to practice at least once a week (could be more, of course).
Someone who dares to dream and also goes after those dreams!
We did a smaller tour recently, we'll be organizing the next one as soon as we find the missing part of the mix.
We have a lot of plans under way: recording an EP (and an album later on), make some proper videos (we have friends who can help out with all of the above), play live shows ASAP and festivals by next summer the latest!
We are also planning to open our own rehearsal studio in the next couple of months so we can play/jam/record/rehearse whenever we feel like!
How about some guerrilla-style busking around London?
So far the crowd's reaction was awesome, people dig the sound and we've been invited back to every single place we've played a gig!
Unfortunately our previous drummer had other commitments (university), so we all agreed that it's best if we go separate ways, that's why we're here looking!
