A guitarist and vocalist are seeking like-minded musicians to form a technical metal band; we are currently seeking a guitarist and drummer, as well as potentially a bassist.
Our main influences are – Protest The Hero, The Fall of troy, Between the buried and me, Sikth, Circa Survive, Glass Casket, Mars Volta, Every Time I die, The Faceless, Decapitated, Dream Theater, Thrice.
Essentially we are looking for very technical players – drummers will need to be proficient in double kick, willing to do the odd blast beat and cope with different time changes. Guitarists will need to sweep pick etc…
www.myspace/asongidea has some very rough ideas, however we have already altered the sound to be less traditional metal.
We have a number of new ideas written and can email anyone interested. We have access to a practice room and studio, we don’t mind if you are already in a band, just as long as you can play!
We are based near Newport, but anywhere in South Wales is cool.
