I'm a female singer. I'm 35 I'm quite new to gigging. I'm a songwriter, (lyrics and melody) which is ideally what I'd like to be, but also sing and perform some of my songs, plus any other writers songs in any band I'm in. Doing covers would be good too. I'm not a great singer, but I'm not a bad one either. I'm at college studying music right now. I have had to perform some gigs there and found out I can do it, and I enjoy it and I'm not afraid to perform. So now I feel I'd like to try all of this in a band and gain more experience, as well as getting a little cash and also help promote songs. As I only do lyrics and melody, it would be great finding musicians who want to work on tracks, so we can complete them and get them out there. I'm very enthusiastic. Other people in the past have said I should gig my stuff, but as I wasn't really into gigging I decided against it. I feel to gig you have to be good, but also dedicated and give 100%, now I am all of that. I don't mind if the band is already formed, or if I'm part of a newly forming band. Just as long as everyone's heart is in it.
