Hello,
I'd like band which is capable of doing ceilidhs but versitile enough to do a whole night of non-ceilidh. The non-ceilidh side of things would be along the lines of rock/pop covers, instrumental swing-jazz and maybe a classical number thrown in!
I have been in various groups that have done all of these things individually and thought there must be someone else out there in the same situation
Wanted: Fiddle/pipes/accordian/guitar/singer/drums (you don't have to play them all...) - just so long as you are flexible. This doesn't mean not excelling at one particular genre (I'm probably best at electro/techno thumping beats), but being willing and able to do the rest.
If you're at all interested by any of this please do get in touch:

Here's a youtube clip of me playing with the ceilidh band 'Normans Law':

Thanks for looking,

EQUIPMENT
I play bass often using synth/distortion/delay/chorus/wah effects (for my own style). I play more a folky/classical style of acoustic guitar (finger picking etc.). My voice is well suited to keane/fleetwood mac/muse/coldplay if I'm leading, but I prefer harmonising, which I am better at anyway.
I have a fretless fender jazz which I sometimes use, otherwise I use a four string Ibanez.
