Influences
Don't want to hang up my rock 'n roll shoes, so would like to meet others interested in forming a just-for-fun bar band. My influences are many and diverse, but include blues, soul, country and folk. I like Los Lobos, NRBQ, Fab T-Birds, SRV, Richard Thompson, Chess blues, Ry Cooder, some early reggae, Little Feat, Bob Wills The Blasters, Cajun & Zydeco, Graham Parker, Springsteen, Stax, Costello, Webb Wilder... just about any rootsy rock and roll, really. I'd like to stay away from the usual cover versions that have been done to death and try something different...oh, and I can play gob-harp a bit. Have rehearsal space if that helps.

Strats, Tele, Les Paul w/ P90s, some vintage Fender & Gibson stuff that doesn't leave the house, green bullet for harp, various Japanese planks for slide (Hound Dog Taylor loved Teiscos), tweed amp. Have rehearsal space, too.
