This is your opportunity if you’re young and passionate about carving out a career in the music industry! Derby-based, Indie-rock/Madchester/Shoegaze band Marseille is recruiting a new bass player (aged 17-24).
For a bit of background on Marseille, the band has an average age of 19 and has already completed two sold-out UK tours in 200cap venues, played festivals such as YNOT, Isle of Wight, and Tramlines, and is backed by clothing brand Pretty Green. Their single, “History,” which is out on January 24th, 2025, was produced by Wolf Alice’s producer Michael Smith.
Here's what we’ll need from you:
- Full commitment to the band for a busy touring, recording, rehearsal, and content creation schedule
- Ability to play to a good standard that will hold up at the top of the industry (any creative input is a bonus too)
- A driven personality to succeed and constantly improve
- Willingness to listen to management and follow instructions
- Be cool and dress cool
