ABOUT
I am a beginner bass guitarist looking to find a band or other musicians with the view to playing writing and learning together.
Have played in bands many (many) years ago guitar/vocals, we wrote and recorded some songs and played a few gigs, but I've not done much since since due to work and family and pursuing other interests.
I try to write a bit sometimes but my abilities using recording equipment aren't great so results never sound polished.
If things work out it would be good to write and play original stuff and maybe do some gigs, but I'm happy to learn cover songs- some classic rock and alternative indie etc while I continue to learn. Looking to get involved for fun to start with, nothing too serious.
Seasoned musicians please don't get in touch, definitely not interested in people with big egos or who wants to be the 'next big thing'
I'm based in Altrincham and available for rehearsals afternoons and weekends.
Own transport & various bits of equipment- guitars, bass, drums, drum machine, synth, recording stuff etc.
Wide influences with a leaning towards non-mainstream stuff, post-rock atmospheric shoe gaze melancholic as well as classic stuff Queen ELO Beatles Stones.
