I'm looking for the above to form an originals band (yes it has a name - no I'm not putting it here) d can provide you with a very rough demo example first so you can hear what it is I'm trying to do here.
Here's the thing that may dismay you - if it does you aren't right anyway - I am 53 - I don't look it but I don't care either reggae and blues don't care about age..
I'm looking for open minded creative musicians. Guitar think Andy Summer through to Pete Tosh, Bassists thing McCartney/Foxton/Burnel - busy but melodic. Drummer - Copeland. Keys think Wailers or gan on No Woman No Cry (dont know the name - sorry)
I dont care how old you are or what you look like,
Attitude is easy but driven.
This is not a Marley rip think Armagideon Time, Watching the Detectives and White Man in Hammersmith palais as possible sounds with a little Police dropped in too. Crossed with the classic 70's Wailers feel.
What have you got to lose. If you have gear, can rehearse and gig and want to go out and storm the world get in touch - like I said will send a very rough demo of a couple of the songs for you to judge for yourself the quality both of my voice and writing.
I want musicians who can contribute to an overall sound not necessarily writers - I write the songs for now.
