I am an experienced and competent guitarist. Main strength is my songwriting. I've also worked as a sound engineer and producer in my time though original material is what most moves me. A child of my own musical times, I'm looking for either a band who likes the music I do or a songwriting/production/ mentoring collaboration with a younger band. I've been involved with 8-9 album projects of my own or as guitarist in bands. I've gigged a lot and played places like The Rock Garden, Lattitude Festival, Liverpool Royal Court. IRS years REM, Let's Active, Lone Justice, Tom Petty, The Beatles, The Waterboys, loads of punk & post-punk acts (whom I'm old enough to have seen), The Monkees, The Go-Betweens, The Triffids, The Church etc. But also, acts like Scott Walker, Serge Gainsbourg, Richard Thompson and some classic rock. Couldn't stand Britpop so don't bother me with that.
