We are a post rock band based in the Gloucestershire, England. Post rock is a genre with enormous freedom for experimentation and progression. And also a wide range of styles and large usage of various instrument.
Post rock pieces are generally written in long progressions with a build up to large crescendos, decrescendos or diminuendos. In the genre of post rock there is heavy influences of classical, alternative and rock as a base of influences and most band incorporate other sounds, skills and techniques from other genres. Our band is looking for open minded and experimental musicians who are willing to come outside of there comfort zones and produce fresh, powerful, passionate and beautiful music. Me and the co founder are enthusiastic music lovers and are inspired by all music, although we are also metal heads at heart and do incorporate a heaviness factors to some songs. Lee (the co founder) has a back ground in playing in rock and metal bands and I a background in playing classical and jazz on clarinet, all sorts of genres on guitar and I am learning the piano!
