Matt, 29 year old from Surrey, been playing acoustic and electric guitar since I was 5 years old.
Never been in a band before, have played a few open mic nights and have a 30+ song set list I can rattle off.
I mostly do acoustic pop/rock covers but I've written a few songs, would aim for the band to do covers at pub gigs etc. and our songs on the side.
Best instrument is acoustic guitar, but have grade 5 on electric guitar too and still play lead from time to time. I'd say grade 3 or 4 level of piano, and know a few songs on the Ukulele.
Always up for Cajon and Acoustic Guitar covers!
Finally, can sing a bit, again mostly covers but I've got quite good range. Happy to be lead or backing vocals.

Influences
For my own songs I've written, influenced by Catfish and the Bottlemen, AJR, Jon Bellion, and The Killers
For covers I like obvious and non-obvious pop/rock songs. Obvious ones like Cage the Elephant, Foo Fighters, and Taylor Swift. Not so obvious ones like Pitbull, Iggy Azalea, and Miley Cyrus.
