Music graduate from University of Surrey 5 years ago. I would now class myself as a semi-professional session musician gigging most weeks playing the trumpet in 4 bands, as mentioned below. I'm very experienced in both gigging and recording. I have a home studio where I am currently recording dozens of songs that I've written over the last decade. I have two reasons for joining this site: 1) Networking with musicians (mainly singers) to feature on specific songs and to improve my list of musical contacts, and 2) Networking with musicians/bands to either gig with on the trumpet, piano, bass or guitar, or to record or write brass parts for your band.

Influences
The bands I currently play with are The Rhythm and Blues Brothers (funk soul R&B), A.J. Holmes and the Hackney Empire (Afro beat pop), The Jacobs (indie/folk), and Tenderstar (disco pop), of which all can be found on YouTube. Personal influences regarding my writing include such bands as the Divine Comedy, The Carpenters, Style Council, Ben Folds Five, Jamiroquai, Embrace, The Beatles, Simply Red, and Jamie Cullum. Genres I take a special interest in include jazz, ska, funk, latin, R&B, classical, Christian, Lounge/Easy Listening, Acoustic and Indie Rock.

Digital workstation with 16 simultaneous recording channels and motorised faders
25U of rackmount equipment (compressors, EQ, effects units, synths, amplifiers)
Small P.A. setup and studio nearfield monitors
Technics P-30 stage piano, electro-acoustic guitar, electric guitar, bass guitar etc.
