Amateur singer and recorder player with an interest in folk, traditional, early and baroque music. As a contrast, I'm also into a subset of pop, rock and electronica, so I also play a wind-controlled synthesiser using a Yamaha WX5 wind controller.
Have had some formal training - singing lessons (currently Grade 5 with distinction, working on Grade 7) and recorder lessons (Grade 6 with merit, working on Grade 8).
I'm looking to join a band doing interesting arrangements of folk songs and tunes anywhere on the silly-serious spectrum, or doing any other interesting kind of music.
