Oxford University Music student (former Guildhall School of Music and Drama- Piano/Saxophone) and talented surrey-based drummer searching for Bass Guitarist and Electric Guitarist to complete a high-quality jazz quartet lineup. As a group, we would be based around Redhill in Surrey, but will of course branch out further than this.
We are both experienced jazz players across the country and are hoping to turn this group into an exciting project- playing a wide variety of challenging (but hopefully rewarding) repertoire ranging from Count Basie and Duke Ellington to Herbie Hancock. Therefore, we are looking for a high standard of player who is comfortable with jazz chord progressions and improvisation.
In terms of finances we hope the group would be profitable through gigs/functions/events, and we are hoping to reach a high standard of music making to make this possible.
