Hey, I am a violinist looking to join musicians/band to make music and friends and do gigs. I've played for a long time and enjoy listening to and playing lots of different genres. I used to play in an Irish band (pub songs rather than ceilidh music) and have played classical music professionally in the past (shows/ opera/orchestral). I can read music so learning pieces in different genres wouldn't be a problem and I can play by ear too. I can improvise, but not to Stephan Grappelli levels. I love EDM and would be keen to work with musicians in this field, as well as folk, gypsy jazz, Latin, ska. Whilst I love to perform this is not important... we could just play for fun or we could gig I don't mind either way.
