Once upon a time there lived a young Maraca named Mervyn. From a very young age Mervyn the Maraca was feeling some rhythm, but was a very oddly wrought wee Maraca and very different from the rest of his Maraca friends, who were also very good at rhythm too. Mervyn the Maraca enjoyed his differing feeling towards the world he saw around him, so Mervyn decided it best to see as much of the world in search of more Maracas that were like him too.
Around the world, Mervyn the Maraca found many stages; some big, some small. And on each stage he found that there were other Maracas like Meryvn that enjoyed being a little different from the other Maracas... and together they rejoiced and sang:
“We like rhythm. You like rhythm. I like shaking it. You like shaking it too. We think rhythm can be fun... and rhythm can be serious... We think you think that too. When we think of something fun or something serious, we might just use shake away and shake it here. You can tell us what you think... We might think you’re making fun, we might think you’re being serious.... Either way, we’ll probably just keep doing it!”
