We are a brand new female duo looking for an alternative vibe in the Jazz/ blues/ acoustic genre.
I began my career in music on the stage and my training began in musical theatre giving me a different edge to the industry. Over the past 10 years, however, I have worked in various bands, from jazz duo's/ trio's to 14 piece soul bands performing across the south east and beyond. Including award ceremonies at The Wardorf, London, performances at the Royal Albert Hall and V.I.P Guest Venues. I have enjoyed work as a Session musician and i'm curently working on some original recordings with a local songwriter. I also recently had a fantastic opportunity to appear in one of Biffy Clyro's most recent Video's. In the past year I have had at least one gig every weekend with either my regular band Free-key or my Trio Funky Mojo. Funky Mojo have now sadly dispanded due to one member moving away but we would like to carry on, increase and evolve our original line up. We have many venues waiting for the new band so commited, professional and charismatic musicians are urgently required!
