ABOUT
I’ve been playing guitar since my mid-teens, and have played in many varied bands during that time. I gave up playing electric guitar in the late 90’s (and got into Irish Trad, but that’s another story!) but started up again about 15 years ago. At that time I realised that none of my previous bands had been straight up blues bands, so decided to try to stick closer to blues.
For the last few years I have played guitar with Rush Hour, a 4-piece band that aims to play blues that isn’t just basic 12 bars.
Although I have a wide range of influences my playing style always has its roots firmly in Texas blues.
