My name's Mike.
I've been playing drums for about 18 years and been playing professionally in a couple of hard rock originals bands, spanning about 15 years. I’m very well stage/ studio trained, and I have experience being on tour.
My preferred style is hard, loud and visual. I like to put on a performance for the audience and battle for the spot light with the singer and lead guitarist.

Influences
One of my main influences is Jimmy "The Rev" Sullivan from Avenged Sevenfold. I really admire his musicianship and song writing skills. I try my very best at keeping up with him.
Other influences are Keith Moon (The Who), Ginger Baker (Cream) Nick Mason (Pink Floyd), Ian Paice (Deep Purple) and of course John Bonham (Led Zeppelin). I was brought up listening to these legends and I've never let their classic style go.

EQUIPMENT
My kit at the moment is a Pearl Export with a 20" bass drum, 10" rack tom, 14" floor tom, Paistè alpha cymbals, 13" hi hats with drop clutch system, 16" rock crash, 10" splash, 18" metal crash, 20" metal ride, 14" rock china. More cymbals on the way along with sample pads for chunky bass drops! I also have pearl eliminator double pedals, all my hardware is pearl and I have a cow bell!
