ABOUT

A highly motivated drummer, always willing to adapt and progress. I am a reliable, disciplined team player. Due to change of career and joining Fire & Rescue service, I have not played with group for a year. I always practice at home though, in my studio room and I am now looking to gel with a good decent group of people.
I will be interested in any offers of jamming or rehearsing, you know...I just want to enjoy...and not take myself too seriously :-)

Influences

Highly influenced by the classic rock era of the sixties and seventies. Influenced a great deal by John Bonham of Led Zeppelin and Mitch Mitchell of the Jimi Hendix Experience. I tend to lean towards the rock genre and greatly admire Jazz. I am willing to work towards any style or genre and develop my passion. My drums are tuned deep and open for that Bonham sound. I tend to hit hard and have high volume, for in rock there is just no other way to be.

EQUIPMENT

Gretsch Renown Maple, with internal silver sealer removed I have had the toms and bass drum re-worked with inner plys of mahogany. Although an expensive process the sound now is more individual when also fitted with some of the best drum heads in the world the Evans G Plus range.
