I love old-school stuff, but I’m not into pastiche or revival. I blend Motown, ‘50s Rock & Roll, ‘60s Garage, late ‘70s / early 80s Punk Rock, and some weird country. I’m drawn to rarities and rawness, but I’m also into Dylan and Lou Reed, i.e. good lyrics and catchy tunes. I guess you could say I make all that part of my canvas to produce something fresh, fun, and new.
