I'm looking for a band with which to just 'get out there'. I've played a few support slots with a previous band a long time ago, and need to be out there again.
There are a few types of band I'd really like to do (Tribute band to a band or bands that I like; fast-paced rock-out' cover band), but I'd be happy in any outfit that played music that I like.
I have a good sense of rhythm and like to work a lot with the drummer - it makes for a very tight sounding band.
I'm mainly a guitarist, but I can manage the bass at a stretch and sing a few things (getting better, but slowly!).

Influences
From Nirvana, Guns n' Roses, Manic Street Preachers, Offspring (their early stuff), Greenday, Megadeth, 70s rock to Jack Johnson.
Can't stand Jazz, Reggae, Rap or anything too 'nu' metal.
EQUIPMENT
Electric and Electro-Acoustic guitars, Bass, Multi-fx and a practice amp (good enough quality to gig with, would need to be mic'd for enough volume)
