SEEKING
Band to Join, Vocalist, Rhythm Guitar, Lead Guitar, Acoustic Guitar, Bass Guitar, Drums, Keyboard.ABOUT
I would love to join a band of like minded chilled individuals who would like to play the odd paid pub gig and rehearse when we can all make it. You’ll need to be close to me though as I have other commitments: Halifax,Bradford area is best. I can play bass, rhythm guitar and drums and could interchange within the group. I can carry a tune and could do backing vocals. My dream situation would be to play with people a similar age to me(I am 43) and we would play in pubs, clubs and music festivals. Maybe we cold interchange playing an instrument for a certain song. I would love to play with a competent vocalist and other musicians that I could learn from. Ideally, a drummer (me) a bass player, a lead guitarist and a vocalist who can maybe play a guitar.
I have done gigs in the past in Leeds and Bradford (wedding, pub, functions) but nothing serious.
I am only looking to play to audiences as a bit of fun not to make it a full time job or anything.
I can’t read music but can read tab. I am a teacher and have organised band clubs at school where I taught children to perform as bands so I can coordinate.
I am in a band at the minute and would like to carry on with them but we only meet once a week for an hour. We are looking for gigs in pubs as well.
