Influences

Swing, jazz-funk, soul, latin, blues, boogie, rock'n'roll, ska. Oscar Peterson is the guiding light piano-wise, though some considerable miles ahead of my skill level! Favourite artist is usually the one I happening to be listening to at the time which may be Buena Vista Social Club, Chic, Dr John, Dumpstaphunk, Jaco Pastorius, Jools Holland, Marcus Miller, Skatalites, Pigbag, Pogues, Ray Charles, Paul Simon, Beatles, Stevie Wonder, Toots and the Maytals, Weather Report, or about a hundred others on my playlist.
