We are the nucleus of a well-established Modern Country Rock band based in Leicestershire. We have Female Vocals/Keyboards, lead guitar and drums with gigs in the diary. We are now seeking a rhythm guitarist (covering acoustic and electric guitar) and bassist to complete the new line up.
We are a little different to most bands in that we are basing our sets around American Contemporary Country and melodic rock. So if you have some flexibility and can turn your hand to a little lap-steel, mandolin, banjo, dobro, harmonica, kitchen sink etc. then that would be great. We have very strong vocals, but if you are willing and able to warble in the background then that would be a bonus too.
We are a very relaxed but enthusiastic and committed bunch looking for similar to start Mk II of the band. We know where we want to go and have a strong set already assembled drawing on Sugarland, Lady Antebellum, Brad Paisley, Band Perry, Miranda Lambert, Gretchen Wilson to name a few. We will be looking for input from everyone to grow this repertoire to meet the differing venues we play. We have played this crossover genre for over three years and we now see it gathering momentum throughout the UK. Current members are based around the circumference of Leicester.
