Hi, I'm Declan, I'm a song writer and guitarist/bassist/singer/multi instrumentalist from North Wales.
I enjoy writing and recording songs, and I'm looking to collaborate and create with other musicians in the local area.
I'd describe my style as acoustic/alternative/folktronica/ambient/experimental (happy to share some stuff I've done over messenger or however people get in contact here!)
I really enjoy looping, building loops, and creating songs out of that, and tend to experiment with effects pedals a lot.
Out of necessity I do sing and record vocals, but I would love to collaborate with a vocalist and see what we create!
The most important thing to me is always the song, and serving the song. Song writing and creation has always been the most enjoyable part of the music process, and I'd love to do that collaboratively with others!

Influences
My influences are pretty vast, I've gone through every music phase imaginable really.
My philosophy is akin to Bruce Lee's: "Absorb what is useful, reject what is useless, add what is essentially your own".
A rough road map of where I started, and where my influences have wandered would be:
Pop->indie->rock->nu metal->hip-hop->electronic->trap->ambient->lo-fi->alternative
(I'm sure I've missed out a few :) )
Like I said before, I like looping, and I think a good song is a good song, regardless of genre. My ambition is to write and record good songs that sound great, so if you share that ambition, please get in touch!
