amateur musician looking to put togethor a traditional goth band/project. Play guitar but do dabble in the black arts of synths and bows.
My personal Influences include the first, second and third wave of Goth: Bauhaus, Xmal Deutschland, Sex Gang Children, March Violets, Sisters of Mercy; the Mission, the Cult, Killing joke, Fields of the Nephilim to things like type o negative, skinny puppy, NIN, ministry and other industrial metal,
Personally i'd want to incorporate some other elements in too, from traditional rock, doom metal and ambient textures (Massive fan of russian circles, tool, chelsea wolfe).
At the end of the day music is all about experimentation and being creative. No right or wrong with making art. Or a limit on how many smoke machines you can use.
