Formerly a 3 peice alternative indie band based in Bristol, the 2 remaining members of leScour (Nick & Maca) have recently moved to Wolverhampton and are seeking a new drummer. Previous gigs have included Bristol O2 Academy, London Astoria, Camden Barfly and Cavern Club in Liverpool. Having previously played alternative indie with a touch of synths we are looking to start fresh with a more electronic approach to writing, recording and performing. Keen users of Ableton, we currently house our equipment in small home studios ideal for rehearsing and recording. We aim to combine the organic instruments of bass, guitar and drums / percussion and sync via click to Ableton Live setups triggering loops, samples, synths and electronic basslines. This is a new way of writing for us so candidate must be creative, open minded and willing to experiment. Ability to play to click is preferred. Our short term goal is to write and record a set of material with an aim to play live.
