Hello!
I am looking for people interested in starting a soul/motown project, mainly inspired by the recordings of Daptone Records and classic soul records. I play guitar, bass and drums but would ideally like to play guitar in the project.
I'm looking for:
- a drummer
- a bassist
- singers
- organist
- any brass players
The main priority would be to get a great rhythm section together and bring in a singer and brass etc. afterwards. I would like to write the music together although I am happy to give direction as a composer. I am looking for people who are very proficient in their instruments who enjoy playing with other experienced musicians
